Marketplace Seller Fee Calculators

See exactly what Amazon FBA, Etsy and eBay take from a sale — and what you actually keep — before you list, not after you get paid.

Why "list price" isn't what you keep

Every marketplace advertises itself as easy to start selling on, and none of them make it easy to see, up front, what a sale actually nets you. A $100 sale on Etsy isn't $100 in your pocket — it's $100 minus a listing fee, a transaction fee calculated on price plus shipping (not just the item), a payment processing charge, and possibly an Offsite Ads cut you didn't choose. eBay's Final Value Fee is calculated on the full order amount including shipping and sales tax, which catches a lot of sellers off guard the first time they check the math. Amazon layers a referral fee on top of a separate FBA fulfillment fee, plus a fuel surcharge, plus a Q4 peak-season bump depending on when you're selling.

None of this is hidden exactly — it's all published in each platform's own fee documentation — but it's spread across pages of fine print, updated on each platform's own schedule, and easy to get wrong when you're doing the math by hand for a dozen SKUs. These three calculators do that math for you, live, as you type, using the same rate tables published on each platform's official fee pages.

What each calculator gives you

1

The full fee breakdown

Every fee named and itemized — not just a total — so you know exactly where the money goes.

2

Your break-even price

The minimum price at which you don't lose money on a sale, calculated instantly as you adjust your costs.
